Bill Oddie finds insect larvae in dung. He's looking for dung beetles, which don't just live in Africa: there are British dung beetles that like British pony dung. He finds a dung beetle with a beautiful blue underside. The dung beetles clean up the New Forest 'lawns' by recycling the dung. The females dig underground chambers and the males carry the dung down for them and the grubs. The dung beetle is very strong and pushes his way out of Bill's fingers.
