Simon King visits the Speyside Wildlife Park to catch a glimpse of a pine marten, arriving at 9pm surrounded by clouds of midges and waiting patiently. In the early hours of the morning, Simon thought he saw a glimpse, but was unsure. Cameraman Jamie Macpherson got a much better view from his position further down the ditch and filmed an adult pine marten foraging for food. It's easy to see from the way it moves how supple it is and you can imagine it streaking through the treetops after squirrels.
