In 1982, the 27th Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Harrogate Conference Centre, North Yorkshire.

This clip shows the UK entry, performed by Bardo. The song was called "One Step Further" and finished in 7th place with 76 points.

The winning entry came from Germany with their first Eurovision victory, a song called "Ein Bisschen Frieden" performed by Nicole. She won with 161 points.
