Are carers taking care of themselves?
Next week (14th – 18th June) is Carers Week.

In today's programme Jim looks ahead to Carers Week by talking to some of the many people who find themselves in this prosition.

The majority of carers are not professional, paid workers. They are dedicated family members whose love for their children, parents or partners, means that they’ve had to put their own lives on hold while they care for their loved one.

On Tuesday afternoon Jim met people on a bench in Ellesmere – tomorrow morning you can hear what they had to share.

And it’s Free for All Friday – your agenda!
