A Symphony for Yorkshire
A Symphony for Yorkshire is a new and unique piece of music commissioned by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ which was broadcast on Yorkshire Day, the first of August.
The four movements have been composed by Benjamin Till and the lyrics were written by Doreen Brigham, a 98-year-old great-grandmother from Harrogate.
The complete symphony was broadcast on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Local Radio stations in Yorkshire on August 1. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Look North will be broadcasting one of the four movements from the symphony each night from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 August.
