Government cancels 拢100million PFI scheme in Northampton
拢100million of Government money was due to be used as part of PFI scheme to regenerate Thorplands and Eastfield in Northampton. The Government says it can no longer afford the plans. Some residents, who objected to homes being demolished as part of the plans, have welcomed the news.
