Bill Allison from Philadelphia has made a study of the early Scots-Irish immigrants and tells Helen Mark about the situation they encountered on arrival in America. He stresses how difficult it was for the women - and we hear the song "Good morning Brother Pilgrim". Huge numbers of emigrants kept sailing from Ireland to America over these years.....
