Joe gets reaction to news the government is scrapping plans for regional fire control centres - including one which would have covered Northants - from the local branch of the Fire Brigades Union.

The plans were first announced almost seven years ago and have cost £200m to date. Northamptonshire County Council has contributed £1m per year for each of those seven years.

It's now claimed more money will need to be spent on the existing fire control centre, which is in need of modernisation.
