Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli 30 years apart and an appeal for new musicians.
Django Reinhardt recorded during the occupation of France with a small group and then his one time partner in the Hot Club of France, Stephane Grappelli in 1970.
Diane Schuur sings with the Count Basie Orchestra plus a new album from pianist par excellence, John Horler. Norma Winstone sings with Stan Tracey and Bobby Wellins.
Ben Webster is paired up with a very young Joe Zawinul and there's new album from pianist Brad Mehldau. Kenny Burrell comes up with a guitar orchestra and Roy Eldridge gives us his version of an old tune.
