                Giving Birth Liberia Style: Coal, Rocks and Bottles
Coal, rocks and bottles are just some of the tools at the disposal of Liberia's traditional birth attendants, as British midwife Suzanne Saunders-Blundell discovers.
The ladies use methods passed down through the generations to help women give birth, especially outside the big cities, where there are fewer hospitals.
They give Suzanne a memorable welcome, and are happy to share some of their innovative techniques.
