Sister Wendy on Albrecht Dürer. A vain, self obsessed man that considered himself to be a genius – and he was right. Sporting his trademark beard and long curly hair, he loved nothing more that painting self-portraits. Upon returning to Germany after a stay in Venice, he set about raising the status of the Northern artist
