Live music from Howard James Kenny (Worcester)

We're also heading off the Velvet in Worcester for the launch of a brand new CD championing the very best musicians in the city right now.

Six years in the making - last month ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing in Hereford & Worcester were given free rein to choose some of the best musicians from Herefordshire & Worcestershire to perform on our very own stage. Throughout September, you'll be able to hear those highlights - which begin tonight with live music from the Worcester loop-pedal acoustic guitar maestro Howard James Kenny.

We're also heading off the Velvet in Worcester for the launch of a brand new CD championing the very best musicians in the city right now.

Plus - the knock-on effects the London riots have caused on our local independent record shops, who are only just starting to feel the impact, after a major distributor was burnt to the ground.
