
BMI sale creates job uncertainty. Council plans to switch off street lights

North-West Leicestershire MP Andrew Bridgen has said he'll write to the owners of British Airways in an effort to save jobs at BMI.
I-A-G has agreed to buy the Leicestershire-based airline for a hundred and seventy million pounds, but has warned that it could lead to job losses.
Around 500 staff work at BMI's headquarters at Donington Hall.
