Herschel's discovery of Uranus
William Herschel was one of our greatest astronomers and in 1781 made scientific history by discovering Uranus, the 7th planet in our solar system. Paul Abel visits the Herschel museum to find out more about this remarkable man and the strange world he spotted on a cold March night from his garden in Bath.
