Toni and Rosi Grunschlag in their eighties play their final concert as a piano duo and recall how they narrowly escaped the Nazis in Austria and fled to England and then to the USA. In the New York apartment where they have lived since 1943 they tell how their mother got away and why she left them alone in Vienna in 1939. Rehearsing in Vienna in 2006 they have cross words at their two pianos as Rosi shows her 89 year old sister where she went wrong. These are lives saved by music and lived through music.
