A woman in her 70's has been fined for dropping litter, after a thread from her gloves fell on the floor while she was out shopping.
Valerie George wasn't aware of what had happened until a council warden issued her with an on the spot fine of 拢75.
The local authority in Wales insists that an offence had been committed, but said Mrs George no longer has to pay the penalty.
