Live session with Swim Into Scarlet
The best in local bands from Stoke, Staffordshire and Cheshire with Rob Adcock, including a live studio session from Swim Into Scarlet.
This week’s live session came from those talented boys in Swim Into Scarlet who performed three tracks, including a brand new song entitled ‘The Promise Land’ and a haunting cover of Lana Del Ray’s ‘Videogames’. Enticing.
Also on the show, Alex chose Stoke rockers Already Gone, Alex Tweedie and Introducing veterans The Dead Format as his ‘Picks of the Week’ from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Uploader. If you’re a musician from the area, why not send your music to us via the Uploader and we just might play it on the show.
As always, we debuted new material from the very best Stoke has to offer. This week was no exception, with a vast variety of new tracks by artists such as Aaron Mobberley, Sworn to Oath and Proud Proud People. We also took the opportunity to reminisce about last week’s show live from The Get Alongs’ sold-out gig at The Sugarmill. It was most definitely ‘all gravy’.
With Lottie bringing you her gig guide, the return of old favourites The Sport and with killer tracks from the likes of The Rivalry and Everything On Red, you’d be mad not to listen.
