Eric Smith hosts the final of the annual competition.

Recorded at Theatre Severn last week, Eric presents the cream of the young musicians studying at the county鈥檚 schools. Dorit Hasselberg (Weber, Clarinet Concerto), Vincent Ko (Mozart, Fortepiano Concerto), Galin Ganchev (Grieg, Piano Concerto in A Minor) and Zoe Mountford (Bruch, Violin Concert No 1 in D Minor) battle it out under the watchful eye of the adjudicator Chris Hoyle.

The performances are accompanied by the Shropshire Sinfonia conducted by Robert Wysome.
