Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Project
The story of Lorena Hickok, a supporter of the controversial Tennessee Valley Authority project, which was a huge government project to build dams to provide work, homes and cheap electricity. The New Deal became more involved with education and health and social issues. Many Americans were against this vast extension of the power of federal government.
