
Local democracy - parish council to MEP
In Norfolk, three teenage friends embark on a quest to find out what can be done to protect the village of Happisburgh from coastal erosion. Through their story, viewers learn about the structure, role and responsibilities of different levels of local democracy in Norfolk, including the local Parish Council, District Council, and County Council. They also meet with their local MP and a Member of the European Parliament for the region. Through the use of graphics, viewers are introduced to the size, budget and role of each administration.
