We spoke to Michael Buckley,the author of the best selling series of books called NERDS.

The books are have proved so popular that he has attracted the attention of Sir Elton John, who's planning to turn them into a film.

Michael says as a child he was a bit of a misfit which in part gave him the inspiration for the series.
