Warren Vache with Harry Allen and Scott Hamilton with Harry as well show the versatility of musicians with two different styles of music from two CD albums, both of which have been recorded recently. Likewise the bop trumpet of Dizzy Gillespie is set against the mainstream trumpet of Roy Eldridge, but this all happened in the mid-fifties when Norman Granz was pairing jazz musicians. We also have music from new singer Claudia Morris and a track from a newish album from Suzanne Mott backed by a band of musicians very well known on the Midlands jazz circuit. We also hear from jazz violinist, 23 year old Ben Holder plus there鈥檚 a track from John Hallam and Ian Bateman, again musicians who are regulars on the Midlands scene.
