Unused medicines cost £4.5m

Unused prescription medicines in North Staffordshire cost the NHS at least £4.5m each year. A spokesman for the NHS said 3 or 4 double-decker buses worth of medicines are returned to them by patients thinking they can be re-used.
Staffordshire digger maker JCB has earned a £3m contract to supply engines for street cleaning equipment with Johnston Sweepers.
