A selection of the best in jazz music.
Harry Allen and Scott Hamilton with a tune from their new album ‘Round Midnight'. The tune is The Opener and it starts the programme tonight. There’s a request for some Buddy Tate and we hear from Midlands artists and bands; the Walsall Jazz Orchestra, Ben Holder and Garry Allcock and his Midland All Stars from 1976. There’s also an archive interview with vibes player Roger Beaujolais plus music from the Chevallier Brothers, Louis Jordan and Slim Gailard.
