In a studio-theatre setting, a group of young people accompany an atmospheric, Latin-inspired piece playing percussion instruments and a sound beam. They are supported by musicians playing a flute, a recorder, a djembe and additional percussion. At the end of the piece an animated Widgit symbol for ‘your turn’ appears on-screen. The piece is repeated. During the repeat the young people put down their percussion instruments and use clapping, humming, thigh slapping and feet stamping to accompany the musicians. Animated Widgit symbols prompt viewers in the classroom to join in with the young people’s accompaniment.
