Extract from 'That's Not Me', a drama in which a young couple, Kevin and Julie, become addicted to heroin. Kevin and his mum are interviewed and they describe his attempts to stop his heroin use. She describes how hard it was for her to see him as an addict, and the lengths she went to in order to help him. A social worker is also interviewed and he describes the role methadone can play in a recovery.
