A typical school day for a primary school student in China. Students usually learn the Mandarin language, Literature, Maths, English, and Moral Education. Every Monday morning each primary school has a National flag-raising ceremony and every morning at about ten o'clock students go to the sports ground to do morning exercises. PE and Art are usually in the afternoon timetable. Moral Education lessons are very important for students to learn to be a good citizen.
