Militant methods used by the suffragettes
Connie Lewcock describes the tactics of Suffragette militancy as the targeting of property, not people. According to Lewcock, the only people who were ever injured were the Suffragettes themselves. Their methods included smashing windows, pouring acid to create graffiti on golf courses and starting fires.
