How planet Earth was hit by meteorites, causing Earth’s tilt and its seasons
Presenter Helen Czerski goes to Barringer Crater to explain how Earth's tilt may have been caused by meteorite impacts. This also helps to explain how the moon was formed and how earth has a relatively stable climate system. By taking to the air in a paraglider Helen then shows that rising air caused by heat from the sun is at the heart of earth’s weather systems.
