Attacks on Asian Taxi drivers
A St Alban's taxi driver’s given up working nights because he's so scared he'll be assaulted again. Mudassar Yasin, was grabbed around the neck and threatened with a screwdriver before his takings were stolen. He was left so traumatised by the experience, he had to undergo weeks of counselling before he could return to work.
A ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Three Counties Investigation has found that there were over 2 hundred attacks on taxi drivers in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire last year. Nearly half of those were racially or religiously aggravated. In this clip Mudassar Yasin tells reporter Matt Lockwood about what happened to him.
