Musician Hussnain Lahori and the Sufi mix
Inspired by the newly emerging pop and rock scene in Pakistan during the 1990's Hussnain Lahori grew up surrounded by music.
Coming to the UK in 2001 he formed a band and began performing around Manchester, Bradford and Halifax, mixing sufi tradition with a unique style of music.
In 2010 he began his solo career gigging in the NorthWest and around the country. In this extract he joins Raees Khan in the Desi Nation studio for a chat and begins by explaining the origins of his unique surname...
