Oh Peggy! The Crickets frontman pays homage to Buddy and Sue
When Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper were killed in a plane crash it was said to be the day music died.
Buddy’s death left his band, The Crickets, without a front man until Jerry Naylor became the band’s lead singer in 1960.
Jerry has recently been back in the recording studio and his new material has a sound harking back to The Crickets while at the same time he pays tribute to the band’s original singer.
Jerry's new single, I Still Love you Peggy Sue, is out on Monday 17th June.
The Rockabilly Legends 50th anniversary album is out the 24th June.
