Are we too critical of the NHS?

Are we too critical of the NHS? Dr Chetna Kang and Toby Friedner discuss on this week's programme.

Are we too critical of the NHS?

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is to be put under special measures for "fundamental breaches of care" following an NHS review.

It's one of 11 trusts across the country where the Government will send in "hit squads" after an investigation into high mortality rates.

Earlier this week we heard that paediatric services at Bedford hospital were being closed because of a lack of senior medical cover.

And the surgi-centre on the site of the Lister Hospital in Stevenage is to have its licence withdrawn following a series of inspections.

But across the NHS there are thousands of people doing their best to make the world's biggest employer the best it can be.

So are we too critical of the NHS? We'd love to hear from you if you work in the NHS or if you are a patient and you use it regularly.
