Through the lens with Owes Ibrahim
Owes Ibrahim was one of only five asian students in his school and says he had to deal with racism from a young age. Studying media at college he was inspired by the art of photography and he began by capturing footage, editing and creating documentary's and music videos.
It's was the day after he bought his first serious piece of kit, that Owes flew to Dubai and began taking landscape shots. Years later, he's photographed people as varied as Canadian R&B singer Massari, Bollywood and Slumdog Millionaire dance choreographer Longinus Fernandes and celebrity fashion designer Jeff Banks.
