Gifted young writer to work with Malorie Blackman
A Nottingham schoolgirl has been chosen to attend a national literary festival for gifted young writers.
14 year-old Talia Bennett is one of 600 young people selected from around the country to attend the First Story annual Literary Festival at Oxford University, where she’ll get to write alongside her idol, Children’s Laureate, Malorie Blackman.
This week the Nottingham Emmanuel School pupil joined ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Nottingham’s Reya El-Salahi.
