Nigerians in Leicester celebrate with a Festival of the Yam

We’ve had the festival of Mangos, the festival of chariots and now in Leicester - it’s the festival of the humble Yam.
Who would have thought that such a basic staple food, would be honoured in such as way - but it is.
And it's a really big deal for the Nigerian Igbo community, who are holding a community celebration to mark the occasion.
In this clip, Dr Ouzo Mabel Iwobi and Nice Nwokoro from the Nigerian Association in Leicester spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester’s Dulcie Dixon.
