Birmingham college bans face veil - reaction
A Birmingham college has banned students from wearing anything that covers the face. It means Muslim students at Birmingham Metropolitan College cannot wear religious veils or the niqab. They have also banned hoodies and caps so students are easily identifiable at all times. Most people contacting Nihal’s phone-in on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Asian Network agreed with the rules including these callers.
