The best-selling books of Robert Harris cover a broad sweep of history. His latest, 'An Officer and a Spy', which is out now is no different.

The thriller is set in 19th century France, with a whistleblower as its hero, and more than a few parallels to current events.

It focuses on the Dreyfus Affair, which Robert reckons is the biggest political scandal and miscarriage of justice.
