Olive Shapley
Olive Shapley discusses her broadcasting career at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, including her time at Children’s Hour and presenting and producing Woman’s Hour in the 50s and 60s.
She recalls how people didn’t know what microphones were at the beginning of her career and the hazards of live recording.
Olive Shapley died, aged 88, on 13 March 1999.
