Proud or ashamed to be black? - Gloucester
How proud do you wear your blackness?
It's an issue thrown into the spotlight by The Guardian newspaper, in an article written by Orville Lloyd Douglas - a black man in Canada.
He says daily discrimination has left him feeling ashamed to be black, and believes many black people feel the same.
And he claims a lot of black men don't want to acknowledge the feelings of disgust they have for themselves. In this extract from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ radio Gloucester, Kevin Philemon put this view to the test with some black men and women in Bristol.
