Essex based former Doctor Who script editor and writer, Donald Tosh, recalls his initial meeting with the First Doctor, William Hartnell. The first serial Donald worked on and was entitled 'The Time Meddler' (pictured above). It was set in 1066 on the eve of the Viking and Norman invasions
