Could Scotland become home to a European space port?
This year fee-paying passengers will travel into sub-orbit aboard a commerical flight for the very first time.
At a cool £120,000 per ticket it will fly more than 60 miles above the earth.
The trips run by Virgin Galactic are due to take off from New Mexico within weeks.
Now there is talk of Scotland being the base for Europe's first space port as Breakfast's John Maguire has been finding out.
In the studio Charlie, Louise and John were joined by Jon Goodwin who'll be taking a trip into space.
