Former hostage Norman Kember says freedom is a 'walk in the garden'
What does freedom look like to you? For Norman Kember – who was taken hostage in Iraq in 2005 – it looks like his garden: the freedom to take a walk, look at the beauty of the flowers and enjoy the sunshine. He told World Update’s Jamie Coomarasamy how the image comforted him during his incarceration.
