Many actors have to make changes to their appearance for their roles, but for his latest part, Oscar-nominated Matthew McConaughey lived as a hermit for five months and lost more than three stone.
The Dallas Buyers Club is based on the true story of Ron Woodroof who's diagnosed with HIV and given just 30 days to live.
