A Derby based professor has been appointed to the Jamaica Diaspora Advisory Board for the North of England. Cecile Wright will be working with the Jamaican government to enable overseas Jamaicans to stay connected to their homeland. In this extract, she speaks to the 蜜芽传媒's Devon Daley about the role.
