‘Singing what they want’ – reggae in Ivory Coast
Reggae music is hugely popular in Ivory Coast – artists used their songs to criticise politicians and call for peace during the tumultuous past decade. Nearly three years on from the most recent civil crisis, where more than three thousand people were killed, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Tamasin Ford reports on how reggae has taken a new turn.
