The Brazilian love of hair care
Beauty is seriously big business in Brazil, especially in the country's hair salons. Nowhere else in the world spends as much money on hair products as the South American giant. According to research by L'Oréal, the average Brazilian woman uses four to five hair care products a day, usually to emulate long, glossy straight hair. But a majority of Brazilians actually have CURLY hair - so is the spending power of a rising middle class changing attitudes to beauty in Brazil? Bruce Douglas reports from Rio de Janeiro.
