Bez, famed for his dance moves with band Happy Mondays, tells 5 live Breakfast's Nicky Campbell why he's decided to stand for the Salford and Eccles seat when current MP Hazel Blears stands down at the next general election in 2015.

Bez, who's real name is Mark Berry, says: "I don't really want to be an MP, I'm doing it to cause debate and discussion...it's about waking people up to the real truth of what's happening" in regard to GM crops and promoting the benefits of a permacultural society.
