Tom Cruise Top Gun sequel "would revisit past glories"
A Top Gun sequel would see Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer "go back to revisit past glories", Los Angeles based film journalist Leonard Klady said.
Tom Cruise has been quoted as saying "if we can get over some stumbling blocks it will be fun to do'' when asked about a follow up to the 1980s film.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has recently hinted that the storyline of the film could focus on the use of drones in modern warfare.
The 1986 film starred Tom Cruise as US Navy fighter pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.
