US gun control: A ‘concealed carry’ class in Chicago
At the beginning of this year, Illinois became the latest US state to allow its citizens to carry concealed weapons, with many people signing up for "concealed carry" lessons. In the second of his series of reports on Americans and their relationship to guns, James Coomarasamy attended one of these classes himself in the south of the city, run by Gerald Vernon.
